Well-known Scots performer Elspeth Cowie presents favourite songs from a lifetime of singing, mostly from the Scots tradition but with a few gems from other aspects of her musical life and lineage. Elspeth was lead singer with the band Seannachie, part of the vocal trio Chantan, and National Organiser of the Traditional Music and Song Association for five years. She is currently touring with the Scots a cappella group Wheen o’ Wimmin. Her roots run deep in Lanarkshire, Fife, Perthshire, Banffshire, Ireland, and the Southern USA.
