Sheena Wellington at the Wighton Centre

The Friends of Wighton Lunchtime Recital on Wednesday, 5th November, will feature well-known Dundee singer Sheena Wellington.

SHEENA’s repertoire covers everything from Burns to ballads to the best of contemporary songwriting, drawing from the rich Scottish tradition passed from musician to musician through the ages.   Included in her programme will be some interesting early 18th century material which she will be recording shortly for a National Library of Scotland exhibition.

The recital, in the Wighton Heritage Centre, Central Library, Dundee, starts at 1.15pm. Admission is free, donations welcome
